Organise a fundraiser

Organising your own fundraiser for the Leukaemia Foundation of Queensland is lots of fun, a great way to meet new people and extremely rewarding. It’s also a very easy thing to do.

Fundraising for us means you will play a vital role supporting our world-leading research and free programs that aim to reduce the emotional impact of a blood cancer on patients and their families.

You can fundraise on your own, in a group, at school or at work.

Getting started with your fundraising

If you are passionate about raising money for our important work, we can help you turn your fundraising idea into a reality.

You may already know what fundraising you’d like to do or need some suggestions to get you started.

Either way, we’d love to talk to you about it so get in touch on 1800 620 420 or email lfq@leukaemia.org.au.

We can provide materials, tips, ideas, budget guidelines and, most importantly, help make your event a complete success.

Apply to fundraise

We are legally required to approve and authorise all volunteer fundraising activities to make sure everyone is kept safe and the event meets all financial and legal requirements.

We will consider your idea once we have your application form; for larger events we may also ask you to submit a simple budget.

The form can be downloaded below and should contain everything you need. However, if you do have any questions, give us a call on 1800 620 420 or email lfq@leukaemia.org.au.
