For the first time, some of Australia’s most iconic cars will hit the open roads of Queensland in an event not to be missed by any Aussie Muscle Car owner.

The Leukaemia Foundation’s inaugural Aussie Muscle Car Run in Queensland will take captains and their co-pilots on a stunning 2,125km sweep of the Sunshine State.

Setting out from Runaway Bay, entrants will spend seven days cruising along picturesque bitumen roads through Warwick, Roma, Emerald, Rockhampton, Bundaberg and Tewantin. Entrants will have the opportunity to participate in various controlled motorsport events, including events at Ironbark Dragway and the Noosa Hill Climb.

Open to cars manufactured between 1963 – 1977 (replicas welcome) and includes various models of Ford, Holden and Chrysler – visit the website for all eligible cars.

Cars of special interest which fall outside the criteria will be considered by the Event Organisers.

How much?

Entrant fee of $1,500 (per person) includes:

  • daily breakfast and dinner
  • accommodation – twin share
  • overnight security for the cars
  • official entrant shirt
  • car livery (stickers)
  • back up mechanical support/facilities
  • motor sport events (including CAMS and ANDRA licences)
  • pre and post event dinner

Entrants must fundraise an additional $2,500 (minimum) per car entry and entrants will be given fundraising support and advice from the Leukaemia Foundation’s events team.
