We invested $1.5 million in blood cancer research, which is a critical part of our mission to support blood cancer patients.

This funding has supported several projects including a new clinical trial program that is an Australian first, several research grants and scholarships, and a new senior research position that will focus on translating world-class research into meaningful outcomes for blood cancer patients.

Responding to the needs of regional and rural patients we expanded our successful Fit to Thrive exercise program beyond Brisbane to Townsville, Cairns and the Gold Coast. We also introduced several new Support Services programs like 20/30 Chat, a specialised support group for young adults, and the Cooking for Chemo nutrition program.

This year our fundraising activities raised over $8.1 million through events like World’s Greatest Shave and Light the Night, as well as individual giving, gifts in Will, and community fundraising.

We are enormously grateful to everyone who has donated their money and time to help support our work over the last 40 years.
